Trees 'n' stuff
- We're losing 3.33 trees today because the power company has to move the lines over to our side of the street. It is very sad. They were really great trees that hadn't been as damaged by the wind.
We're going to plant some smaller growing flowering trees to replace them, but it still hurts the property value.
- My family is coming to visit this weekend and I am super excited about that. Unfortunately, because of the trees coming down, they won't get to see our property looking quite so nice. (Can you tell I'm a little upset over losing pretty much all our trees by the road?
)
- The kittens are seriously adorable. Anyone want one?
- Moe has now marked me twice. He is neutered. We don't get it.
Guess I should take it as a compliment, though, right?
- Yesterday we tried for a second time to find a certain cache around here that baffled us the first time we tried. Yesterday was no different. We found a cache, but it was the wrong one. That made it all the more frustrating. We got home and I read over more of the log entries online and was still as confused as ever. I went to bed and realized, as I was attempting to fall asleep, where I'm sure it is now. Paul agreed with my theory this morning and was just short of calling me brilliant.
Looking at other similar caches has only confirmed my thought. However, we refuse to go searching separately unless we've already found it once, and it is up toward the post where I obviously am not today since I'm getting the house ready for guests. This waiting to see if I'm right is KILLING ME!!!!! Maybe tomorrow...
- We've also finally placed 4 of our own caches and two of them have already been found! It's so exciting.
- It's lunch time and I'm starving.
