Changes and one other little tidbit of news.          February 21, 2001
OK, this time I actually am doing cool things to this site. Well, I'm at least making it easier on myself. I hope to keep it better updated, although there's never much news.
The biggest news is that I heard from Mancy right before my winter break started. I haven't heard back yet and so don't have a lot to tell you at this point, but she is doing very well. She's in school and absolutely loves it. I'll let you all know when I have more information. Stay warm and stay strong!

Albums still available and various other news         October 8, 2000
For those of you who are still looking for either Mancy's EP or Paper Moon, I have located two places online that have both albums listed in their catalog: True Tunes and Christian Music X-Change. Please let me know if these work or not, so that I'm not giving out false information about them. Finally, I finally have an easy (not to mention fast) internet connection from the comfort of my own computer and room. Therefore, I hope to be better at keeping this website updated.

Jars of Clay Concert and Signing         April 1, 2000
First and foremost I would like to apologize for my lack of posting new news. As a result of school work, my job, and a seemingly shrinking amount of computer time, I have barely had the time to email my friends! Anyway, on March 4, here in Ames, there was a Jars of Clay concert. The guys were also nice enough to come out to Lemstone Books for an in-store signing. At the signing I got the opportunity to talk to them and ask them about Mancy. They told me that she is in fact going to college and that she's really enjoying it. None of us know if she will ever try to put out another album, but I will let you know what she might say about that. That's about all I have for now. The mailing list has been pretty quiet for quite a while. I encourage more people still to join to get it more active.

Angelfire changes         November 3, 1999
Several weeks ago, Angelfire was forced to add advertisments to their members' webpages. I chose the option of having the ads be pop-up windows so that you can close them and not have to look at them too long. If anyone has objections to this, please let me know and I'll change it to being actually part of the site. I have not heard any new news on Mancy and haven't been able to find a way to contact her. It appears that she is not attending the school I thought she was, so I have not been able to contact her through that. I will let you know as soon as I get more information. Don't forget to sign up for the mailing list, and once you're there you can vote for your favorite song off of Paper Moon! Don't forget the Mancy's birthday is November 29! She'll be 21. That's pretty much all I have for now.

Email List and Some Updates!         September 13, 1999
I have now created, at the request of several people, an email list through ONElist.com. You can sign up below. This list will allow you to easily converse with other fans. Mancy, as far as I know, has started school, and I will be attempting to regain contact with her. For anyone interested, Arnolds Park was saved!!! That makes the residents of Iowa very happy. :) I know I've been really bad about keeping this updated and I haven't written about Cornerstone or Everyone's Festival, but pictures will be coming soon. :) That's about all I have for now. I will let you know if I hear from Mancy.

Not a Whole Lot!         July 12, 1999
Well, I don't have really anything substantial to report. Cornerstone was a blast! More on that will come later. If you would like to hear about it, though, please email me. I talked to Jars. I asked them if they knew any more about Mancy's situation than I did, and they really didn't. I've got nothing better to post here really, but check out these sites:

Save Arnolds Park This is the site for saving Iowa's best (in my opinion) amusement park. It's located on the Iowa Great Lakes and is so great! Unless they raise $5.5 million by August 1, 1999, it will be sold and turned into condominiums! If you wanna help or anything, please do!

Brio Article         June 13, 1999
I now have the feature article on Mancy that was in April's Brio, typed. There are probably some spelling errors and stuff, so if you catch any, please let me know and I will correct them ASAP. That's pretty much all I have for now. I hope to be better at getting things up on here, especially after Cornerstone where I'm hoping Mancy will make an appearance, possibly with Jars, but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, the article is not listed on the articles page because it did something really stupid and I'll have to figure it out. Meet Mancy

PERFORMANCE!!!         June 11, 1999
Ok, I know that this is a bit short notice, but I haven't had much time since I found out about it myself. Apparently, Mancy will be performing at the Sacred Heart Coffeehouse in Knoxville, TN on Sunday, June 13. That's this Sunday. If anyone attends this concert, please try to talk to her after the show and ask her how everything is going and what she's planning to do now that Pioneer Music Group has gone under, because I would really like an update on her situation. Thank you all, and again, I'm sorry for the short notice on this.

Audio Clips         April 14, 1999
Many people have been asking about audio clips for some of Mancy's songs. The official site used to have several. I don't know how to do that. There are some people I could ask, but right now I really don't have the time. However, if you visit Parable's feature on Mancy there are clips of Prettier Coloursand Mad on the Moon. I'll let you know if I find any more sites or figure out how myself. Thank you all for your support of Mancy during this time. Don't forget to join us on the Message Board!

Message Board!!!         April 8, 1999
Well, sad to say, the official Mancy site can no longer be reached. I haven't heard anything from anyone really. Just yesterday I got back a letter that I tried to send to Mancy c/o Pioneer. Anyway, on the bright side of things, I have just recently created a message board for Mancy!! I would love to have more regulars than the two (myself included) that are currently there. I'm trying to get the word out as much as possible, so tell all your friends! I'm also going to try to get Mancy to join in on some of the discussions, if that's possible for her. :) Just follow the link below. To be a "regular" you will want to register with Delphi, but it's free and very painless. :) You can also chat on Delphi, so if any of you wanted to start a chatroom just let me know and we can set up a semi-regular time perhaps. Some bad news....         March 23, 1999
As of Monday, March 15, 1999, Pioneer Music Group no longer exists. As most of you know, that was Mancy's label. Prayers are very much appreciated for Mancy, the other artists signed with PMG, and the staff of PMG. Mancy left a message in her fan notes last week. Here's what she said:
As some of you may know, Pioneer Music Group, my record label has gone under. They did not get the funding from Pioneer Electronics they needed in order to continue to grow. That basically means that I do not have a record label anymore as of Monday. It's really a strange and sad thing that no one expected. So right now I have no idea what the future holds for me. Hopefully, another record label will come along and I can start recording and touring again. But as of now, I will be here in Nashville trying to figure out what the future holds. Thanks to all of you who have supported me so far, and God willing the future will be brighter than the past. God bless, mancy
If you want to see what others have said (some PMG employees have signed it), or write a note to Mancy, she does read her fan notes fairly regularly. If I hear any more on Mancy's label situation, etc. I'll let you know! Thank you for your prayers.
